1. What types of books do you write?
I don't write just one genre. The first book I wrote, Home to Stay, is actually the second book published. It is a contemporary romance that I wrote when I was in my twenties and very much into romance. It is the book that you enjoy on a cold winter evening, curled up on the couch with a glass of wine. The second book I wrote, On the Other Hand, is an inspirational novel about an empty-nester who loses her husband to a stroke. Unfortunately, because baby boomers are of that age, the number of people experiencing this is on the rise.

2. What is the latest book you have written?
My most recent novel is On the Other Hand. I am so pleased with the feedback I have been receiving from the readers. You can read some of them on My Blog

3. Is it part of a series, if so which one?
I'm not working on a series. I have received many inquiries from readers asking if I planned on a sequel but I think that there are so many stories out there to tell, I don't want to be restricted to a series right now.

4. When did you start writing?
I started writing as soon as I learned how to form sentences on paper.

5. Why did you start writing?
I started writing because people facsinate me. I don't think there is one person that doesn't have at least one life experience worth telling. I find myself imagining what these stories might be.

6. Who are your influences?
As authors, my influences would be Mark Twain, John Grisham and Stephen King. For characters and plots, everyone I ever come into contact with is an influence.

7. What can we expect from you in the near future? Book signing events, other details
I am currently working on a novel that is completely different for me and I am having a great time doing it. It's called Retribution and it's all about payback. Unfortunately, it hasn't been going as quickly as I would like. Over the past year, I have had 14 book signings, a television interview, blog radio interview, and several other appearances. I've made the conscious decision to step back from all of that while I concentrate on writing, however, I do have several guest blog spots coming up and will post them on my website
