Bingo is my biography passionately composed over decades. It contains my fantasies, and desires within historical events, which have resulted in a range of emotions. A powerful journey with setbacks and disappointments along the road from abuse, depression, love, struggles ‘And Still I Rise’, as my heroin Maya Angelou has claimed throughout her life.



This book has short stories, which are inspirational to all women, it is encouraging to know that you are not alone. I feel the number one reason for depression, is the feeling that you are alone, and no one is going through your problems. I have had feedback from reader's saying;” I thought it was only me”. This book bridges those frustrations and highlights that you are not alone! We may be on different sides of the globe, but sitting and reading this book poses as self-help, with the knowledge that other women can relate to your problems.
As a mother and single parent, I have included funny moments, which my children encounter on many occasions. Arriving at school to discover, my second son, has no shoes – When questioned, replies, I told him to get ready, but never asked him to put on shoes!
There is something to appeal to all sexes. Men have an understanding of emotions that women encounter in their lives. I feel the claim that ' Men are from Mars' and 'Women are from Venus' is correct, due to a lack of understanding between the two sexes. I think this book bridges that gap. I have had reviews from men claiming that they have not had familiarity, but they have been close to women who have experienced it. Therefore, they have reached a better understanding of the problems, these women have been their mother, sister or wife.
It does not appeal solely to poet lovers, due to the fact it is an easy read and an auto-biography. Many readers have voiced, they do not read poetry but they loved the book. Therefore, there is something to appeal to fans of all different genres of prose.

Bingo is a contemporary written book in poetic style in the form of an auto-biography; with emotional horrors and humor.
